Greenville, SC – Whalen Montalvo Law partner, James M. Whalen, has been recognized by his peers for inclusion in the South Carolina 2021 Legal Elite. James M. Whalen has earned his high reputation after handling cases in DUI mitigation, personal injury, and criminal defense. This is the second consecutive year that he has won this honor from Legal Elite. Last year being for his practice in personal injury law, Mr. Whalen continued to broaden his specialties and was nominated this year for his accomplishments in the criminal law field.
Mr. Whalen is an experienced criminal defense attorney, and civil litigator. He received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Many legal and judicial conferences, such as the S.C Commission on Prosecution, have recruited Mr. Whalen for speaking duties.
